You only need 4 ingredients to make this crema: an avocado, fresh limes, salt, and vegan sour cream. You may also want some water to thin, but that doesn’t really count as an ingredient. Choose a ripe avocado, juice some fresh limes (well at least 1), and any vegan sour cream will do! To make this vegan crema all you have to do is add all ingredients to a mini food processor or a blender and process it until smooth! As always, taste and adjust seasoning (in this case salt and lime juice) to taste! If you’re going to be using it for drizzling atop anything, like tacos perhaps, you’ll want to thin it with water. Otherwise leave it thick and use as a dip or spread! I love avocado crema in part because it keeps in the fridge for longer than say, guacamole does. If it lasts that long it should keep for a week! It can be thinned and added to a squeeze bottle for perfect drizzles. Otherwise a good old fashioned bowl or small pyrex storage container will do the trick!
