I love having a stable of easy snacks that I can make in minutes without turning on the oven, and this collection of no bake snacks includes many of our favorites. There are no-bake granola bars, no-bake energy bites, bites that taste like cookie dough, and even no-bake cookies. Many of these recipes are made without added sugars and each includes a nice mix of nutrients to ensure that the kids snack is filling and energizing. No-Bake Chocolate Granola Bars

These are one of my most satisfying no bake bars for every age—we have taken them on so many family hiking trips. They hold up well, are super delicious, and have a balanced mix of ingredients. Sign up for our email updates to get tips and ideas sent to your inbox.

No-Bake Granola Bars

This is the non-chocolate version of the recipe above so you know you have options! This recipe is equally easy, with one fewer ingredient.

Chewy Granola Bars

Made with basic pantry staples and a super simple method, these chewy granola bars are a great snack to serve right out of the fridge with milk (or a toddler smoothie or water.)

Chocolate Balls

My kids call these “brownie bites” because that’s what they taste like…even though you might not expect that when you see the ingredients list!

No-Bake Energy Bites

This was the first energy bite I made for my kids when they were toddlers. These bites are free from added sugar, they’re so easy to make, the texture is soft, and they can be made in many fruit flavors.

No-Bake Peanut Butter Balls

Think peanut butter cookie dough and you’ll have a good sense of what these no bake snacks taste like! You can dip them in sprinkles for extra fun too!

Apricot Balls

With fruit flavor and simple ingredients, this no bake snack is perfect for a holiday cookie tray or an afternoon snack.

Granola Bites

I started making these as an alternative to the granola bites we can get at the store…but which come in tiny packages for more money than I want to spend on a snack!

Bliss Balls

With intense fruit flavor from freeze-dried strawberries (or other berries) and nutrient-rich ingredients, this no bake snack is a forever favorite.

No-Bake Peanut Butter Cookies

These work equally well as an energizing snack as they do a yummy dessert. Bonus: You need only one bowl to make them!

Best Tips for Success

Store no bake snacks in the refrigerator for best results. For allergy swaps, see the Notes on each individual recipe. Pair a snack with fruit, milk, water, Greek yogurt, sliced bananas, sliced apples, or other fresh fruit—or serve on its own. Ingredients to keep on hand for no-bake snacks include oats (gluten-free if needed), shredded unsweetened coconut, chocolate chips, nuts like cashews or almonds, nut butter such as almond butter or peanut butter, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and honey. Find more easy healthy snacks. Each of these has fiber, many are vegan, and all can work as no bake desserts.
