At any time of the year, this Peach Puree is a great baby food that’s similar to apple puree but provides a different flavor experience. We love this not only as an early homemade baby food but also as a food that everyone in the family can enjoy stirred into yogurt or oatmeal. It’s so easy to make this peach baby food in minutes using fresh or frozen fruit. And you don’t even need to peel the fruit! You can make a small batch as directed here, or double or triple it to make enough to share with the family. So flexible! Ingredients You Need
To make this simple Peach Puree Baby Food, you just need peaches: ripe fresh peaches or thawed frozen ones, depending on the time of year and what you may have access to. If using frozen peaches, thaw completely before you begin the recipe. TIP: You can add a little cinnamon or ground ginger for additional flavor if you’d like.

TIP: The consistency of your blended peaches will depend on the water content in the fruit, so you may or may not need to add additional liquid.
How to Serve Peach Puree to Babies and Toddlers
You can serve this peach puree as a stage 1 baby food to a 6 or 7 month old from a spoon as it’s a very smooth puree. For older babies and toddlers, you can stir it into yogurt for babies, oatmeal for kids or Baby Rice Cereal to add more nutrition, or simply serve it as you would applesauce in a small bowl. TIP: A typical serving for a 6-7 month old may be 1/2-1 frozen cube. An older baby may eat 1-2 cubes.
How to Store Baby Food
You can store any leftover Peach Puree Baby Food in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days. To freeze, place spoonfuls into an ice cube tray. Freeze for 4-6 hours or overnight. Transfer to a freezer storage bag, date and label, and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in an airtight container in the fridge.
